Jericoacoara is still a village of sand, located in Jericoacoara National Park, 300 km northwest of Fortaleza (Ceara State) and so far away of traffic, asphalt. The main access is by Prea beach, known as kitesurf destination. Jericoacoara is a paradise and a dream, for its beauty, a place that is so unique in Brazil.

Jericoacoara was declared as an Environmental Protection Area (APA) and became a National Park in 2002, brought many restrictions for new constructions and get more control in the their Presevation Area.There is not any paved road, only sand. Houses can be built with maximum of 2 floors. Jeri is not only known as the birthplace of one of the most amazing beaches in Brazil, but is a destine ecologically secure and a paradise for nature lovers.
